Maintenance Mechanic, General Foreman
Reports to and receives assignments and direction from Site Management for the operational requirements and receives and complies with guidance’s provided by CSO/PMO for all contract technical requirements. General Foreman supervises, organizes and coordinates all activities associated with Field Maintenance Department. This position is responsible for ensuring that the work of the Field Maintenance Department is performed in a safe, efficient and effective manner. The General Foreman implements and or maintains processes and measures to ensure the accuracy of the data input, ensures efforts are directed towards process improvements, enforces procedures and policies for assigned areas, and maintains compliance to safety policies and procedures. Plans work and administers policies. The general foreman ensures that all shop tools and equipment are organized and secured; all required parts/materials are identified, ordered and inventoried in accordance with guidelines provided in PCP and Field Maintenance Work Instruction (WI). The general foreman is responsible for good cost under his or her influence and primary quality control for all the work performed within the Power Generation Department. Performs inspections required by the company and or government. Promotes safety and quality and complies with all applicable safety and quality procedures and regulations. The general foreman must complete the proper paperwork as assigned in a timely manner. Candidate must be able to troubleshoot electrical 12 and 24 volt systems, MVAC systems and drivability problems, candidate must possess knowledge in use of Diagnostics Tools especially MSD device and JPRO. Submits to Site Management and CSO/PMO both written and or verbal maintenance status reports as required. Ensures total customer service.
Additional requirements:
- Must have Seven to Ten (7 to 10) years’ of experience working on U.S. military tactical vehicles.
- Must have EAP609 MVAC Certification.
- Must possess knowledge of ability to read and understand schematics, and technical drawings.
- Must possess a valid passport with at least 15 months of remaining validity AND with at least 6 blank visa/stamp pages remaining.
- Must possess a home country valid driver’s license.

Preferred qualifications and skill:
- Candidates with prior Military and or LOGCAP experience in working with military equipment and environment.
- Candidates with MRAP-U certification.
- Candidates with 40hrs HAZWOPER – OSHA certification.
- Candidates with technician certification or work experience with RTCH’s (KALMAR RT-240).
- Candidates with knowledge of US military regulations and OEM requirements, including OSHA, ANSI regulations standards.
