Job Description
Ensure compliance to customer’s Technical Specifications, Company standards and Production & user department requirements. Activity planning, execution and checking for the development of electrical, instrumentation and telecom drawings & documents. Monitor project activity and produce design deliverables
Develop designs such as Equipment layouts, EIT support drawings, SLDs, Schematics, Termination drawings, Hook ups, 3D Model, Lists with overall assistance of Engineers / Senior Designer / Lead Designer. Plan and schedule team and own activities along with the Engineers / Lead Designer / Senior Designer. Involve in Bid Engineering, i.e. bid estimation for man hour and materials. Distribution, monitoring and checking of the work of the assigned team. Preparation and checking of drawings and documents. Reviews for overall completeness, general safety, access and egress, materials handling, maintenance and operability etc. Perform inter-disciplinary checks. Ensure schedule compliance of Design deliverables including MRs. Prepare MTO and Material Requisition, allocation and reconciliation of materials. Incorporate vendor data on document deliverables. Perform site survey as necessary.
Responsible for change management & risk identification. Ensure compliance to project specifications & company procedures.
Propose design improvements and lesson learned.
Assist the engineers / lead designer / senior designer in achieving the department key performance indicators (KPIs). Carry out and supervise project closeout including as-built documentation. Supervise teams of Drafters. Carry out 3D modelling and performs periodic model reviews / checks to ensure level of content. Mentor and train draftsmen. Ensure compliance to HSES policies and procedures as applicable. Ensure compliance with all applicable information security policies & procedures

Desired Candidate Profile
Candidates with Saudi Aramco Experience Preferred.
Minimum Edu.:-Diploma / ITI inElectrical or Instrumentation Engineering.
Minimum Exper.:-5 – 7 years in offshore / onshore / drilling rigs – Design / Construction Industry.
ACAD and/or PDMS / Aveva or equivalent.
Good communication skills (both written & verbal) with ability to interact across multiple disciplines.
Well conversant with Electrical and Instrumentation standards and material.
Site experience / site deputation experience
