As part of our regional growth plans, we are currently looking for an experienced QA/QC Engineer (Materials)
Duties:
• Responsible for reviewing contractor’s proposed source of materials and Materials Submittal for different of construction, concrete and bituminous mix design and supervision of all aspects concerning quality control of materials used during the execution of works to ensure compliance with the specification requirements
• Review of Contractors transmittal and submissions, including Material Submittals
• Inspection of Contractor’s site works, including off-site and factory inspections, MIR’s, samples/mock-ups
• Material Laboratory testing and analysis
• Project Management/Planning of Contractor’s civils works
• Co-ordination with Authorities/Stakeholders

Requirements
• Quality Assurance/Quality Control Engineer with more than 26 years of experience.
• Degree qualified- minimum requirement of
• Minimum of 12 years experience in gulf.
• Must have integrity, be flexible and proactive
• Must demonstrate ability to act independently as part of a team
• Reasonable knowledge of MS Word, Excel
• Good communication skills in written and spoken English essential
• Good report writing skills, experience of making presentations to and attending meetings with clients is essential
• Good team player, able to communicate effectively with colleagues
• Additional Languages (Arabic, Hindi etc) advantageous
