We provide project management, engineering, and construction expertise across the full field lifecycle. These services are delivered within three operational business units: Subsea and Conventional, Life of Field, and Renewables and Heavy Lifting.
Within Africa, Middle East & Caspian region (AMEC), we safely execute Subsea and Conventional projects which connect seabed wellhead infrastructures to surface facilities such as platforms and floating production systems. We are actively present in a significant number of countries in Africa, Europe, Caspian Sea, Middle East and Asia.
DESCRIPTION OF FUNCTION
The role is responsible for implementing, maintaining and follow-up of all project planning activities within a project including interface with other Project Controls roles.(ads1)
To establish, maintain and follow-up all planning activities in compliance to company, industry, client requirements and interface with other Project Controls roles & necessary Stakeholders. Analyse and issue project activities float analysis and establish progress monitoring with Client and Suppliers.
All personnel are expected to contribute to creating a positive HSEQ culture within Subsea 7 and ensure familiarity with and adherence to local HSEQ codes and practices. Additionally, creating a culture of ethics and integrity within Subsea 7 and ensure familiarity with and adherence to our Code of Conduct.
SPECIFIC KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACTIVITIES
- Prepare schedules & schedule simulations as requested by the management in accordance with the Group Planning procedures, the Client & Project requirements.
- Participate actively in the development of the project specific procedures which shall include Work Breakdown Structure and progress measurement methods in accordance with requirements.
- Development and maintenance of the Baseline schedule, S-curves and reporting formats.
- Prepare reports as requested on the progress, the critical paths, the deviations, and the forecast and highlight to the management any major change in plan that may impact the project.
- Ensure accuracy of the data included in schedule and reports.
- Implement sub-contractors plans into main schedule/plan including establishing reporting routines and follow up of progress.
- Experience in offshore construction project – Including Jacket, Topside, Pipeline and Cable/Umbilical installation
- Experience in managing interface between Client and Subcontractor
- Experience in managing interface with multiple projects is preferable
- Monitor and control vendors progress report and schedule
- Ensure good communication and follow up internal and external activities in the project.
- Report consequences/changes related to planned progress according to agreed reporting frequency.
- Ensure that Project Contractual Deliverables are handed over in a progressive manner, on a timely basis in accordance with Company Requirements.
PROFILE – KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND BEHAVIOURS
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred
- A minimum of 15 years management experience
- Microsoft Project and Primavera
- Be able to represent S7 in front of the Client
- Be able to represent S7 in front our partner (LTHE).
- Able to travel (once COVID restriction finished)
- Good communicator & proactive
