Responsibilities (may include but are not limited to):
◘The primary role of the Cathodic Protection Engineer is to perform Cathodic Protection activities, which include evaluating, selecting, designing, installing and commissioning cathodic protection systems for various metallic structures involved in on shore and offshore.
◘Capable of being the face of the Project Engineering and execution Department, so solid verbal and written communications are needed. Primary responsibilities include:
◘Preparing engineering specifications, design guides, design calculations, drawings and material requisitions.
◘Reviewing engineering designs, drawings, reports, and specifications for equipment installation and commissioning.
◘Organize and lead Cathodic Protection Surveys.
◘Review and analyze field data and prepare detailed analytical reports to submit to clients.
◘Troubleshoot cathodic protection system, DC interference and AC interference problems.
◘Develop material requisitions and specifications for equipment where deviations from standard documentation are required.
◘Performs special tasks, calculations / studies and provides leadership, training, and consultation to technicians / supervisors, junior level engineers / drafter subordinates.
◘Responsible to produce basic and higher-tier drawings and documentation in accordance with established conceptual design and scope.

◘Evaluate, review and assign actions to support resolution of issues identified in the project Issues Evaluation Reporting tool.
◘Perform the role of Originator or Checker with extensive knowledge of NACE and other international standard requirements, for Calculations, Specifications, Layout drawings, Standard Installation Details related to Cathodic Protection.
◘Properly interprets and applies codes & standards and customer design requirements, for the preparation of design documents, specifications, material requisitions and system descriptions related to design tasks.
◘Prepare detailed analytical reports on the specialized surveys, feasibility studies, diagnostic surveys etc.
◘Ability to cope with conflicting deadline, frequent interruptions and multiple tasks.
◘Demonstrate leadership qualities with emphasis on continuous improvement and team building, and interpersonal communication skills.
Qualifications:
◘Engineering degree with 10 years of related design experience.
◘Minimum of NACE CP3, Cathodic Protection Technologist, or higher.
◘Advanced use of Microsoft office programs and other computer programs.
◘Extensive knowledge and application of International standards like NACE, ISO, BS, DNV, DEP.
◘Excellent oral & written communications skills.
◘Proven leadership and personnel skills.
◘Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
◘Must be able to travel to project sites internationally
