CP Supervisor
Responsibilities:
◘Supervises and provides technical support to assure compliance with the company’s external and internal corrosion control programs in Cathodic Protection.
â—˜Supervises and provides technical support for troubleshooting of various cathodic protection systems for onshore and offshore applications.
â—˜Participates in project planning based on risk assessment
â—˜CIPS and DCVG survey project scope development, data analysis and provide appropriate remedial recommendations.
â—˜Provide technical expertise and problem solving to field technicians in all areas of cathodic protection system application and complex interference testing.
â—˜Plan and implement pre-design surveys to assist design engineers gathering all related field data with reports.
â—˜Provide technical support services normally to Field Operations, Operations Services, and Engineering.
â—˜Execute ON/OFF, AC/DC interference and diagnostic surveys and prepare reports
â—˜Execute specialized surveys like CIPS, DCVG and prepare detailed reports
â—˜Prepare project execution plan, schedule for the proper implementation of CP projects
â—˜Gather details from field and documents and prepare estimations to assist Estimation engineers.
â—˜Interact effectively with the team members for the smooth execution of CP installations and commissioning.
â—˜Organize and reduce data gathered, prepare charts and tables
Qualifications:
â—˜Diploma in Engineering or equivalent. NACE CP Level I or II Certification
â—˜A minimum of 5 years of responsible experience in supervisory level.
â—˜Strong team, internal customer service skills and problem solving skills are a must
â—˜Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
â—˜Individual must be a self starter, able to work without direct supervision, willing to travel, have strong planning and scheduling abilities, good communications skills, and be able to function in a team environment or as team lead.
â—˜This position requires analytical skills and the ability to complete tasks and assignments.
